Product Description

The Devoted Things Indented Scar Removal Peel is an effective, gentle skin peel. It removes indented scarring by allowing the skin to resurface. It works by combining powerful acids, that help the skin to shave off its damaged top layers. It also includes healing ingredients, which nourish the epidermis, and help the skin rebuild from within. Conduct the mandatory Patch Test. Follow the directions on the info sheet presented with your product, because it will help you determine whether you need to dilute your peel. Make sure to fully read the product directions and product information, provided with your Indented Scar Removal Peel, and to use this illustrated manual only as a simplified reference sheet. Let's get ready to begin your journey towards glowing, even skin!

Step 1 Prepare Your Skin

To prepare your skin for the application of the peel, very gently scrub your face. You can do this with a clean, wet washcloth and your favorite cleanser, or by gently using your fingertips to massage your skin with a combination of baking soda and warm water. If you prefer, you can also prepare your skin by rubbing your favorite cleanser between your palms with warm water, gently massaging your face, and rinsing. However, gentle exfoliation is recommended. If choosing a cleanser, choose a natural, fragrance-free cleanser, that does not contain harsh exfoliants like microbeads, extra acids like kojic acid, or any potentially irritating fragrances.

Step 2 Access the Peel Solution

 opening the bottle's cap

To get the peel out of the bottle, turn the tightly closed bottle upside down and shake it for 15 seconds. Unscrew the cap, and press the clear plastic reducer’s hole, inside the bottle, to your finger. Tap the bottle as hard as necessary, until you get a large droplet covering your fingertip.

Step 3 Apply the Peel

Apply the droplet to the scarred area on your skin. If you are healing a single scar, one droplet should be enough. 3 droplets, total, is sufficient to cover a 2-inch by 2-inch square area, like a scarred cheek. If you are covering two cheeks, you would need 6 drops total. Remember, if your mandatory patch test resulted in any irritation, make sure to dilute your peel by following the sensitive skin tips, that were presented with your product. Follow Steps 1-3 twice a day, once in the morning and once at night.

Step 4 Moisturize Your Skin in the Morning

After you have applied the liquid peel to the scarred areas you are treating, allow the skin to air dry. Once the skin is dry, apply a moisturizer and SPF of 50, or higher, to ensure that the skin is protected from the sun as new layers are revealed. Failing to use SPF, and exposing the skin to the sun, can cause hyperpigmentation and damage, so don’t forget!

Step 5 Moisturizing the Skin at Night

Before bed is the perfect time to follow the Accelerated Healing Tips provided with your product. After allowing the peel to air dry on your skin, you can apply healing topicals like Aloe Vera Gel, Emu Oil, Vitamin E Oil, and Colloidal Silver to the skin, along with your regular moisturizer, to accelerate the skin’s healing. Any combination of these tips should ideally be done 2-4 times a day, but at the very least, at least one of these tips should be done nightly, before bed. Applying liquid egg white masks nightly, following the directions provided with your product, is also highly recommended.

Step 6 Take A Break

After anywhere from 8-13 days, of twice daily application, or earlier, for those with more sensitive skin, the skin should begin to show initial warning signs of aggravation. While this is completely normal, it is important that as soon as your skin begins to show sensitivity, you obey the warning signs immediately. To do this, take a mandatory break from the peel for 7 full days, while following the Accelerated Healing Tips, provided on the Directions sheet. After the 7 days has passed, you can begin using the peel again, following the Sensitive Skin Re-Starting Tips.

Most importantly, remember to breathe, and be patient! It will take several months of use to completely remove deep scarring, but with consistency, patience and dedication, a transformation can be yours to celebrate.
